The difference in medical care in El Centro vs. San Diego is astronomically different. Am speaking of time, quality and patient caring. Unbelievably different.
Dad was up here for a CT Scan at Scripps La Jolla ........2:30 appt. and we were out of the hospital by 3:07!!!!!!!! Amazing compared to El Centro where they are so inefficient you hate to even have to go to the hospital for this stuff.
Grands were over tonight and leaving tomorrow for Modesto for the 4 day weekend. I will miss them terribly.
Just when we think things are settling in, something else happens to make us "on edge." Surgery next for Dad.
Nothing in the house says "Christmas" yet. *sigh*
Glad your dad was treated so efficiently at your local hospital, but what a shame he needs a scan. Hope you get the result you want.
ReplyDeleteAs to nothing saying Christmas, just come on over - EVERYTHING in this house says Christmas! I was determined to have a tasteful Christmas tree and a few lights this year, but the children wanted to help and they emptied every single box from the loft, and have hung ALL the lights and ALL the tinsel all over the place! I perch on the edge of the sofa among the clutter that is the sitting room and rest my eyes on the lovely crib figures over the fireplace and breath deeply...trying not to think about the cost of electricity, the fire risk and the places I can nolonger reach to clean.
