JUST A THOUGHT................
I can't think of anything more elite than owning 9 houses 13 cars, having a wife that spends $300,000 on clothes for a convention, a running mate that spends $150,000 on clothes in 2 months and having the highest paid member of your staff be a makeup artist.

Now I ask you, who's elite and who's out of touch with everyday Joes?

Automation/Electrical/Electronics

Was just thinking here what would I do w/o my electronic and electrical appliances. So many things I use on a daily basis cut down housework immensely. So today I am thankful for all things electrical and automatic........especially this laptop.

Americans are angry? and I voted!!!!!!!!!!

Today I voted by mail and I have to blog about my feelings. It feels like a dark cloud has lifted over me and that I can resume NORMAL life now after 2 years of this crap. I can't believe, we as a nation, allow campaigning to start before Labor Day??? or say not before Memorial Day or whatever. It is sickening to see the $ spent, wasted and for what? Most of us know who we were going to vote for just by our party affiliation or our feelings on certain candidates or ballot measures each election. So why the need to prolong it? For those who don't, let THEM listen to all the crap on tv, radio, and read the newspapers. I for one find making a living, caring for others' medical needs, family, grands, home and hearth etc. etc. more important than monotonous MONTHS of campaigning by the media of any form.

I'll leave you with this from my friend Margaret: John McCain thinks Americans are angry? Really? I think he needs to look beyond his rallies. Americans are not angry. Republicans are angry. Bush screwed ‘em over and now McCain is rubbing salt in the wound. It looks to me like The Straight Talk Express is stuck in traffic and its driver is experiencing a little road rage. The rest of us are hopeful and anxious, but certainly not angry. We want change and it is so close we can almost taste it. The next two weeks will be the longest.
