3 Days overdue
Yesterday we went to the mountains. Was Octoberfest in Julian.
We walked the quaint streets, had a great lunch and then headed to
the new casino where we ended up playing shuffleboard and having cokes
and apple juice at the bar. I lost $40. Not sure what others lost.
3 days overdue and counting here.

Oct. 3
Still no grand daughter. Trip to my dad's was productive. He's 85 and really slowing down but still goes to work every single day of the week except Sundays. Always amazes me.
I can't wait to hold our new grand daughter when she decides to grace us with her presence. I just know I will cry with tears of joy and wish my mother could have been on this earth to experience this as well. She always wondered if she would ever be a great grandmother. *sigh*
